Educational Animal Program

This is a favorite of everyone that visits the zoo! Come and see baby animals and other interesting creatures as our zoo keepers tell you a few facts about each. You don’t want to miss this!

This program is featured daily from May to September at 10, 12, 2, and 4 pm.  Additional shows are added during school season.

Fall hours for program are only on weekends from September to October 2017

Picnic Areas

Pack a lunch and we will supply the atmosphere. We have several picnic areas around the zoo for families who want to enjoy their lunch while watching the animals.

*You are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch; pop water, and other snack items are also available at the Gift Shop.

Kids Play Area

When the children are looking for a small timeout from the animals, we have a play area set up with slides and play equipment for the tots to enjoy. (For kids under 5 years of age)

Nature Trail (closed temporarily)

Take a stroll on a short, but picturesque, nature trail (less than 1km long) through our 5 acres of woodland. You may get a chance to see some local wildlife. Remember to pack your bug spray!

The Nature Trail is closed while we build the new wolf enclosure but will reopen at a later date.

Petting Area

A favourite place for the younger children is the petting area. Kids can have a chance to feed and pet our friendly Pygmy Goats.
