Q&A

Explore top questions asked at the Zoo.

Can I wander off the zoo walking paths?

Please try to stick to the packed gravel paths during your visit. The Twin Valley Zoo is not liable for any injuries.

There are designated areas for eating and picnicking, with lots of open space to view all of our animals. Staying on path keeps the zoo safe for humans and animals. 🙂

Is there parking for cars and buses?

Yes! Our large parking 🅿️ lot offers tons of room for cars and buses. If booking for a group or class, be sure to see our Groups & Classes page.

Are there seating areas to eat around at the Zoo?

Yes! We’ve prioritized expanding picnic areas around the Zoo. You’ll be able to find covered seating areas and over 30 picnic tables around Twin Valley.

Is there an area for animal petting?

Our Goats 🐐 right outside the entrance/exit our are the perfect opportunity for petting. All other animals are not permitted to be pet or fed.

How big is the park?

Twin Valley Zoo sits on 25 beautiful acres that include a five-acre wooded area, complete with a nature trail. The entire park takes approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours to walk through, but you’re welcome to pack a picnic lunch and stay all day. Please no drones, barbeques, or tailgating.

Is this a peanut free facility?

Please be advised that, as a public space, we cannot guarantee a peanut/tree-nut or allergen-free environment. Some of our wildlife are provided with peanuts/tree nuts as part of their diet.

Can I host a party at the Zoo?

We do not host birthdays. We encourage you to bring your own event supplies such as a cake, drinks and reusable materials where possible. No balloons allowed.

For corporate events and/or partnerships, please contact the Zoo for more information.

Are pets or animals allowed?

Sorry! Unfortunately, any pets, including service animals, are not allowed on Park property due to animal well-being and safety - including the parking lot. Leaving animals in your vehicle is strictly prohibited.
