The Entrance is located on the left when coming from Brantford and Highway 2, keep an eye out for the entrance sign after the hill. When coming 'the back way' from Highway 8 and Hamilton, look on the right.

Visits are self-guided, we do not offer tours.

While we do not offer guided tours at our zoo, visitors are welcome to meander through the array of exhibits at their own pace. Exploring the zoo can typically take 2-3 hours, and are assisted by signs and directions around the Zoo.

How do I find specific animals?

Are there bathrooms around the Zoo?

Bathrooms are centrally located and can be found by the reptile room. Our bathrooms are fully accessible.

Can I wander off the zoo walking paths?

Please try to stick to the packed gravel paths during your visit. The Twin Valley Zoo is not liable for any injuries.

There are designated areas for eating and picnicking, with lots of open space to view all of our animals. Staying on path keeps the zoo safe for humans and animals. 🙂

Can I host a party at the Zoo?

We do not host birthdays. We encourage you to bring your own event supplies such as a cake, drinks and reusable materials where possible. No balloons allowed.

Is this a peanut free facility?

Please be advised that, as a public space, we cannot guarantee a peanut/tree-nut or allergen-free environment. Some of our wildlife are provided with peanuts/tree nuts as part of their diet.

Are pets or animals allowed?

Sorry! Unfortunately, any pets, including service animals, are not allowed on Park property due to animal well-being and safety - including the parking lot. Leaving animals in your vehicle is strictly prohibited.

Do you have a gift shop?

Yes! Located in the main entrance building, our gift shop includes range of toys, merchandise and everything for animal lovers.

Are balloons allowed?

No, balloons can often scare our birds and other animals - so they are strictly prohibited.
